EFH's Kids on the Block

The Kids on the Block puppet shows are a presentation to young school children, which presents the seeds of understanding of epilepsy at an age when many of the youngest children with epilepsy are beginning to become noticed by their peers.  This program, a local variation of a national Epilepsy Foundation of America program, is presented at 10-20 grade school classes per year.  We would like to expand that to approximately fifty classes. Support Groups Adult Support Groups supported in part by EFH Meetings are on the 1st Wednesday of every month at the Paki Hale, 3840 Paki Ave. 7:00-8:30 PM EFH's Keiki Club A support group for children with epilepsy and their families. Meets Bi-monthly for potlucks, outings, and fun! Call to sign up.

Legal Review A lawyer is available for consultation regarding legal issues related to epilepsy and seizure disorders.  Most commonly this would include labor disputes especially regarding the American's With Disability Act or denial of needed services such as denial of disability status.

Social Worker (assistance/referral) A social worker is available to help our clients with issues such as applying for insurance coverage, housing, respite care, etc...   To schedule an appointment please call the EFH office at 528-3058
